Shop Local Winter Sidewalk Stroll & Wreath Decorating Contest

We truly believe that everything we need is all around us. In an age of accessibility to endless options, purchasing all the things we need for daily life and gifting alike feels more meaningful, more satisfying when it’s sourced from our neighbors…So, naturally, we’re participating in The Merchants of 3rd Ave's Small Business Saturday “Merchant Bucks”. Spend $50 in any participating shop Today and Tmrw (11/30 & 12/1) and receive $5 in “bucks” to use at any participating merchant during the Avenue’s Sidewalk Stroll (12/14 &12/15).

There are also lots of other happenings-a Wreath Decorating Contest (we’ve set to work on ours and the deep giggles its brought are winning enough for us.), a Tree Lighting, and, you know, Tra-La-La.

When we show up for each other, community exists. We’re so very grateful to be part of this one.

Alllllright, another Contest is happening on the Avenue and we’re here for the love of the game. It’s a “Wreath Decorating” competition and here is our submission-

“A Wreath Of Franklins”, covered in tassels attached to muselet caps from sparkling wine tops, silver holly, a great big velvet ivory bow, grapes that are gilded (though we adamantly believe in not gilding the lily!), and a vinyl from our “record company”. It’s more about the Franklins than the Benjamins, after all.
