Mostly Petit Rouge with bits of Vien du Nus, Doucet, Fumin, and Mayolet.
WHERE
In far northwest Italy's Alpine mountain region of Valle d'Aosta, specifically seven hectares of vineyards in the hamlet of Ollignan between the towns of Quart and Saint Christophe. Vineyards are at high elevations of between 550-650 meters above sea level.

Natural fermentation and aging between stainless steel and oak casks.
WHY
The Grosjean family have been on this land for a long time cultivating both grapes and chestnuts. Dauphin Grosjean was encouraged to present his wine at a local expo in 1969. His work was lauded and so he and his family started to focus more and more on the expansion and quality of their wine production.
